DHEERAJ
JINDAL
I like stories that don’t end when the credits roll.

Stories rooted in people, their choices and the worlds that shape them.
Dheeraj Jindal is a Mumbai-based filmmaker whose work spans fiction, non-fiction and advertising. A postgraduate in film, he began his career in 2009 and went on to direct award-winning short films including The School Bag, Momo Deal, Baj Gai Seeti, Vikalp and Paash, as well as Netflix’s Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer.
He is drawn to characters who find themselves at a point of change — where ordinary lives collide with extraordinary circumstances.
Across fiction and non-fiction, the impulse remains the same: to find the human story inside the larger one.
THE HUMAN STORY
INSIDE THE LARGER ONE.
The work can move from a scripted character to a real-life crime story to a commercial campaign. What connects it is a fascination with people — their contradictions, their choices, and the pressure a world puts on them.
The aim is not simply to make something look good. It is to make the audience feel that there is something left to think about after the film ends.
